Tilly’s Annual Anniversary Appeal

Support Our Mission

Help us raise £1,000 by the end of March to support grieving pet parents by supporting my 5K swimathon.

Friday 27th February 2026 marks the three-year anniversary of Tilly, the love of my life. Losing Tilly and having my heart broken was the bittersweet inspiration behind the creation of the Pet Loss Support Group.

Three years after Tilly’s passing, the Pet Loss Support Group is proud to have supported so many incredible grieving pet parents. We’re honoured that these brave souls have trusted the group and chosen to share their stories and hearts with us.

In honour of Tilly and all of the beautiful pets our community has lost, we’re launching our annual fundraiser to strengthen and grow the support we offer to grieving pet parents.

Our support sessions run entirely on love and compassion, but there are costs involved in building, maintaining, and expanding what we do.

Your generous contribution will allow us to:

  • Continue delivering more accessible support sessions in a safe space

  • Reach more grieving pet parents and expand our services to have a greater impact

  • Invest in materials to curate more vital emotional support tools

Help us raise £1,000 and make a lasting impact for pet parents struggling with grief.

Every donation, big or small, helps bring hope and healing.

The group is a bright spot in my week and I'm so happy I found it. I'm navigating things better now and feeling less alone in my grief.”

WHY A SWIMATHON?

Because pet loss grief hits hard!

Anyone who’s lost a beloved pet knows just how devastating it can be, and how deeply it affects both our mental and physical health.

Sport has been part of my life since childhood. It’s always been my safe space. A place where I could just feel like myself and escape from the world when things felt overwhelming and just too much.

Since Tilly’s passing, physical activities like walking, climbing, cycling and playing padel have really helped me process my grief and support my mental health.

Recently, I’ve fallen back in love with swimming, and I thought a swimathon would be a meaningful way to do something special for my girl and to raise money for our Pet Loss Support Group along the way.
