Tilly’s Annual Anniversary Appeal
Support Our Mission
Thank you for supporting grieving pet parents through my 5K swim challenge.
Friday 27th February 2026 marked the three-year anniversary of Tilly, the love of my life. Losing Tilly and having my heart broken was the bittersweet inspiration behind the creation of the Pet Loss Support Group.
In her memory, I took on a 5K swimming challenge in March to raise funds to support grieving pet parents.
Thanks to the kindness and generosity of everyone who supported this fundraiser, we raised £480.
I’m so grateful to everyone who donated, shared the page, or supported the fundraiser in any way. It really means a lot.
Our support sessions are built on love and compassion, but there are real costs involved in maintaining and growing what we do.
Your generous contribution will allow us to:
Continue delivering more accessible support sessions in a safe space
Reach more grieving pet parents and expand our services to have a greater impact
Invest in materials to curate more vital emotional support tools
Although this fundraiser has now ended, you’re very welcome to continue supporting the Pet Loss Support Group by donating below.
Every donation, big or small, helps bring hope and healing to grieving pet parents.

WHY SWIMMING?
Because pet loss grief hits hard!
Anyone who’s lost a beloved pet knows just how devastating it can be, and how deeply it affects both our mental and physical health.
Sport has been part of my life since childhood. It’s always been my safe space. A place where I could just feel like myself and escape from the world when things felt overwhelming and just too much.
Since Tilly’s passing, physical activities like walking, climbing, cycling and playing padel have really helped me process my grief and support my mental health.
Recently, I’ve fallen back in love with swimming, and I’ve decided to swim 5K over a weekend in March as a way to do something special for my girl while raising money for our Pet Loss Support Group.
