Pet loss is one of the most painful experiences a person can go through, yet it’s often overlooked, minimised, or unsupported. The Pet Loss Support Group exists to ensure people don’t have to face that grief alone.
We’re inviting values-aligned businesses to sponsor our work and help sustain free, compassionate emotional support for people grieving the loss of a companion animal.
Business sponsorship plays an important role in ensuring this vital support remains free, safe, and available at the point of need.
Why Business Sponsorship Matters
The Pet Loss Support Group provides structured, non-clinical emotional support through weekly facilitated online sessions and an ongoing peer support community.
This work supports people at a time of emotional vulnerability, helping to reduce isolation, normalise grief, and protect mental wellbeing. Without business sponsorship, it wouldn’t be possible to maintain consistent weekly sessions, moderation and support grieving pet parents in their time of need.
Your support helps ensure that no one is turned away when they need help most.
Our Impact So Far
Over 70 bereaved pet owners supported through facilitated sessions and peer connection.
Over 60% return for additional support when needed, reflecting appropriate use of support at difficult moments.
100% of participants report the group provides a safe space to express their grief.

Founded and led by Ben and his wonderful team, Final Rest offers compassionate home euthanasia services and a trusted pet crematorium.
Ben was the caring veterinarian who came to our home to help me say goodbye to Tilly. It was the hardest day of my life, but made easier with Ben’s kindness, patience, and compassion. I’ll forever be grateful that Tilly received the peaceful, loving, and dignified farewell she deserved.
Sadly, not every pet parent is as fortunate, which is why we’re here to provide that same vital care and support for others during their pet loss journey.
